Today i decided to retry the girl hanging the cloth that i made yesterday... but taking my time (not the 25 minutes of the class). I will post various step to show the technique that i'm trying to use:

First step, i made a new document large enough to contain the original picture as well the drawing, then i started from the head and i draw the first part of the silhouette:

Now i started adding some details like the left arm and the right hand on it, also some light and shadow to refine the body...

Here i started to refine the light on the side of the hip, i refined the chin and started to draw the right arm as well.

Added the first part of the cloth, It's pretty tricky to add the light and the shadow on that part, I'm working only with the "Splatter" brush and only in the size of 5 or 9 pixel for the details, 19 pixel to soften the shadows and 29 or 39 to add more material on the body.

Just made the first leg, I'm not much satisfied of the feet...

I've refined the left feet, so i started the right leg, the right feet is slightly on her left knee...

Ok, i started adding the shadow on the right leg, but for the moment it's too late so i will resume tomorrow...

Personal works 01

Today i started something by myself (until now i did 3 art class) i found this beautiful black and white picture and i started drawing in photoshop without thinking anything special...

In the beginning i made the body silhouette from the light grey and then i started adding darker tones... as usual, i made the body in a single layer without any tools except for the painting brush and the eraser, without a palette (i just pick up the clearest part of her skin as base color). After one hour this was the result...

After i finished the body, i decided to try the background, but this time i added 2 extra layers into the scene, one for the trees on the back and one for the plants on the front:

I have to say that I tried to draw the plant like the original... but i changed my mind because was too complex for me to do...

Art Class Day 03 (2 weeks later)

The second art class I did was with a real sketchbook so I still did't took any picture of it, maybe later... I have to say that when I started the 3rd class i was pretty nervous 'cause I couldn't slept very well so I was unable to focus as the class needed... As usual we used https://line-of-action.com/ page... I was so tired that I did a sloppy work starting with the 30 seconds pictures until the 5 minutes ones...

I tried to focus just on the body positions... Then in the 2 minutes slideshow i tried to increase the number of details as much as possible, and in the last one of the serie i tried to put some shadows...

In the 5 minutes picture I think that I had a blackout... I was so sleepy, then in the 15 minuts i felt to had done a good work but then looking back to what i draw i thought that was horrible... But then my art teacher told me something that gave me a new perspective... Instead of making schemes and think too much about the shapes, she suggested me to start making a silhouette without borders... this is the result and a screenshot of the original picture:

Art Class Day 01

I started using https://line-of-action.com in order to find models for my drawing practice, actually for me it's pretty good, it have a function that start a pictures slideshow where you start with a 30 seconds time shift each picture for and then you go thru different pause like 2/5/15/25 mins... there is a small interface where you can choose your favorite setting before start drawing, and it's also free...

this was the first serie i made for my first art class, i always start making the base scheme starting from the head.
